
Yoda, Pra-Tre Veter, and Lahru are referred to as the 3 Grand Masters. Ephru Shinn is named as his temporary replacement, and the newest member of the Council as of LOTJ. Yoda is "already a respected member of the Jedi Council at this point.", but is on leave teaching on the ship the Star Hopper. Light of the Jedi & SWTHRS 4 establishes all of the Jedi Council in this era. 232 BBY: All High Republic Spoilers, leaning heavily on the youtube series Star Wars: The High Republic Show episode 4: The position of each name in the charts are meant to be confirmed successors, not literal seats in the Council chambers. Other than that, I assumed everyone's tenure was continuous unless otherwise stated (so if Poli Dapatian is mentioned in 68 BBY and not mentioned again until 40 BBY, it's assumed he's still present). This implies, taken literally, that anyone on the Council is at least 23 when inducted. One other tidbit of note: Anakin is the youngest person on the Jedi Council ever, at the age of 22. There is some disagreement on if the book is set in 39 or 40 BBY, but most references I've seen use the latter due to Kenobi's birth year. The age descriptions holds up pretty well except for one case, which I'll call out specifically.

So I took a day and reviewed a lot of the materials to get some rough timeframes.įor everything prior to Episode I, the audio drama Dooku: Jedi Lost serves as the foundation for about half of it, using Dooku's age as listed in the print version of the book as a reference. So we've got a pretty solid list of who from the current canon is on the Jedi Council ( 41 known individuals as of this writing), but the "when" of it all can get a bit fuzzy.
